As mentioned in a previous web log entry last month, Microsoft plans to offer its new anti-spyware software for free. Beginning today, ordinary folks like you and me can go to their web site and download the package. By the way, its official name is, "Microsoft Windows Anti-Spyware." To get the software, go to:

As for me, I am in sort of an anti-Microsoft mood (more on that in a future blog), so I am sticking with "Spybot-Search and Destroy."
