Outlook for iOS and Android Released…and it’s free!

This latest surprise from Microsoft took me off-guard. I don’t think I ever heard any hint of it in the tech tabloids. But, I could be wrong. No matter! I downloaded it to both my iPhone and iPad. And, I must tell you, I think it is fantastic! If you are familiar with Outlook on the PC, you will find that it works the same on your iOS device. I can’t speak for Android as it is still in beta, but the iOS version is a final version. You can read all about it in our first story in the Mobile Computing Section below.

As for Windows 10, I am still playing with it and still having little or no luck with Cortana. It does recognize me when I say, “Hey Cortana,” followed by a command, but it mostly cannot complete the command. Once it even printed on the screen that I should wait for future system updates. OK…I will.

As for the rest of my experiments with the OS, you can read about them in our first story below…the author’s experience with it are the same as mine. I think it will be a success and most of you Windows users will be switching to it when the time comes. What the heck! It will be free.

Well that is my story today and am sticking to it. I hope you enjoy the stories and tips I have gathered here. Have a great weekend and enjoy the Super Bowl. - JRC
