This latest hack revelation happened three years ago, but we are just learning about it. The first revealed Yahoo hack was done two years ago and affected 500 million users. This one affected 1 billion users! This is a disgrace…not only the hack, but Yahoo hiding it  from the public for so long. They knew about both hacks not long after the breaches.

Yahoo was recently purchased by Verizon, who is just learning of this latest breach in security. They will either demand a lower price or cancel the deal completely. Yahoo prices, of course, are tumbling on the stock market.

So what should you do about it? First cancel any Yahoo accounts you may have. Then carefully read our first two stories and follow their tips. Merry Christmas from Yahoo!

Besides the bad news, there is also some good news and some good tips for all your devices. So read on and enjoy. -JRC
